Job Description
ECS is seeking an ARPA-H Senior Healthcare CyberSecurity Architect to work remotely. This position is contingent upon [contract award].
Responsibilities include :
- Serving as a systems engineering and technical assistance advisor to the RSO Program Manager, supporting cybersecurity initiatives such as DIGIHEALS and UPGRADE.
- Developing and testing solutions to address vulnerabilities in healthcare cybersecurity.
- Designing architecture solutions and software applications to enhance hospital cyber-resilience.
- Collaborating with R&D teams, software engineers, and stakeholders to solve technical problems.
- Supporting the development, transition, and commercialization of new research methods and technologies.
- Providing strategic assessments of cybersecurity methods and technologies.
- Leading and supporting multidisciplinary teams of solution architects, engineers, and healthcare experts.
Salary Range : $100,000 - $180,000
Minimum Requirements :
- At least 19 years of total work experience across research, government, commercial, or consulting sectors.
- Minimum of 10 years in security-related technology focusing on IT architecture, infrastructure, or application development.
- Experience leading large technology programs or complex projects as a Solutions Architect.
- Expertise in industry standards such as ISO 27001 / 2, SOC 2, NIST CSF, HITRUST, and FedRAMP.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong research, analytical, and scientific report writing skills.
- U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency is required.
- MS in Chemical Engineering or related scientific field.
Desired Skills :
- Experience with cybersecurity solutions for building automation systems.
- Experience with cloud technologies.
- Experience working for a Federal ARPA organization or in Federal Healthcare R&D.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills for collaboration across diverse professional backgrounds.
