Position: Talent Attraction Specialist with LHH Recruitment Solutions

Position: Compensation & Benefits Specialist (Total Rewards)

LHH is looking for a dynamic Compensation & Benefits Specialist to join a growing company and their People Operations team to help drive their Total Rewards programs forward.

This is your opportunity to shape and scale compensation and benefits programs in a high-growth, fast-paced environment that values innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  1. Provide analytical support to HR leadership through research, reporting, metric tracking, and actionable recommendations.
  2. Perform compensation analysis and recommend salary adjustments to ensure market competitiveness and internal equity.
  3. Partner with People Ops to deliver timely and accurate compensation program elements.
  4. Conduct job analysis to determine appropriate job leveling and alignment with company policies.
  5. Lead and support Total Rewards initiatives as we scale our people operations.
  6. Manage complex and confidential projects independently from start to finish.
  7. Develop and maintain documentation for compensation programs and policies.
  8. Identify and implement process improvements in partnership with People Ops.
  9. Ensure compliance of compensation programs with legal requirements and internal standards through regular audits.
  10. Provide ad hoc compensation analytics to stakeholders.
  11. Manage participation in market surveys, ensuring accurate job matching and market analysis.
  12. Support compliance efforts, including ACA reporting, 401(k) audits, nondiscrimination testing, etc.

Benefits Administration & Strategy

  1. Partner with HR leadership on benefits strategy development and execution.
  2. Manage and communicate retirement plan details, including 401(k) administration and ERISA compliance.
  3. Oversee reconciliation and billing of health and welfare benefits to maintain accuracy and control costs.
  4. Manage the annual TIP Program, from eligibility to record-keeping.
  5. Support the delivery and administration of benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life, disability, FSAs, COBRA, and more.
  6. Conduct regular audits and ensure program compliance with legal standards.
  7. Collaborate with management to improve benefit offerings and streamline processes.
  8. Monitor vendor performance and ensure service standards are met or exceeded.
  9. Maintain a general understanding of all insurance offerings and HR policies.

Requirements

  1. 4–6 years of experience in compensation and benefits, ideally within a high-growth, agile organization.
  2. Strong background in market analysis and compensation benchmarking.
  3. Proven ability to manage projects, prioritize tasks, and drive initiatives to completion.
  4. Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills with high attention to detail.
  5. Strong collaboration skills and a proactive, self-starter attitude.
  6. Experience navigating complex, matrixed environments.
  7. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and Google Workspace.
  8. Familiarity with HRIS systems and reporting tools.

  1. Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or in progress.
  2. Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) or in progress.
