Job summary

Red Deer Public Schools is seeking two Educational Assistants to support a diverse group of students at West Park Elementary School. The positions are temporary, 30 hours weekly, commencing as soon as suitable candidates are found until June 30, 2027, replacing a leave of absence.

Successful candidates will build trusting relationships, provide individualized academic and behavioural support, and work closely with teachers to maintain routines in a caring, inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Educational Assistant Certificate or related training is an asset.

We are seeking two caring, professional, and collaborative Educational Assistants to join a strong classroom team. The successful candidate will support a diverse group of students with a range of academic, social, emotional, behavioural, and language needs.
