Job summary

Red Deer Public Schools is seeking two Educational Assistants to join West Park Elementary School. The roles are part-time (30 hours weekly) and temporary, replacing a leave of absence, commencing as soon as suitable candidates are found until June 30, 2027.

The successful candidates will support a diverse group of students with academic, social, emotional, behavioural, and language needs, collaborate with teachers, and contribute to a caring, collaborative school community.

Qualifications

• Educational Assistant Certificate or related training is an asset
• Ability to build authentic, trusting relationships with students and provide individualized academic and behavioural support
• Encourages confidence, independence, and inclusion
• Works closely with teachers to support learning and classroom routines
