Job description

Education Assistants: School District No. 53 (Okanagan Similkameen) is seeking education assistants at various school sites to join our team. Our education assistants provide students with social, emotional, academic, behavioural, and/or personal care support.

Pay is $28.29 - $30.83 per hour, and regular positions include a competitive benefit package.

Successful candidates must have:

1. Grade 12 graduation
2. An approved certified education assistant certificate or equivalent (such as ECE certificate or first-year post-secondary education with courses in human behaviour)
3. Four months recent experience working with children in a structured program or classroom setting.
