Job summary
Energy Job Shop in Edmonton AB is hiring 50 full-time Structural Welders and Structural Fitters for immediate starts on day and night shifts. These roles focus on structural steel fabrication, welding, fitting, assembly, and blueprint-driven work for large-scale projects.
Local applicants with a Blue Book are preferred. Ideal candidates will read blueprints, work safely in a fast-paced shop, and have experience with MIG and TIG welding, fabrication equipment such as plasma cutters and press
Qualifications
- Read and interpret structural blueprints, schematics, and drawings.
- Maintain safety practices in a fast-paced shop environment.
- Accurately measure and assemble components per specs.
- Demonstrate strong mechanical knowledge and tool-handling skills.
- Experience with structural welding or fitting is required.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate structural steel per drawings and specs.
- Weld and fit components to assemble structures.
- Interpret blueprints and perform measurements and calculations.
- Follow workplace safety requirements and quality standards.
