WF Steel & Crane Ltd in Nisku, AB, is hiring Journeyman Welders/Fitters for both night and day shifts. The role offers an hourly rate with overtime and after-probation benefits, based at our South Plant in Nisku.

Ideal candidates will hold CWB MCAW and Journeyman Certification or a welding apprenticeship, with structural fitting experience, strong communication, and fluency in English. Safety-sensitive environment, overtime, and team or autonomous work are expected.

Qualifications

• CWB certification in MCAW is required.
• Journeyman Certification or Welding Apprenticeship.
• Structural Fitting experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal).
• Reliable and punctual.
• Willingness to work overtime hours.
• Team player or able to work autonomously.
• Ability to work in a safety-sensitive role at all times.

Responsibilities

• Join the structural fabrication crew at South Plant Nisku.
• Operate as Journeyman Welder/Fitter on night or day shift.
• Maintain safety and quality standards in production.
• Collaborate with team and adapt to overtime requirements.

The Position -

An opportunity currently exists for Journeyman Fitters/Welders to join our Structural Fabrication Crew. We offer a competitive hourly rate plus overtime and benefits (after probationary period). The position is based in Nisku, Alberta.

The Ideal Candidate -

The ideal candidate will possess the following experience and qualities:

• CWB certified in MCAW is required
• Journeyman Certification or a Welding Apprenticeship
• Structural Fitting experience
• Highly developed communication skills
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal
• Reliable and punctual
• Availability to work overtime hours
• A diligent worker who can operate within a team or autonomously as required
• The ability to work in a safety sensitive role at all times
