Job summary

Strategic Group in Edmonton is seeking an Assistant Site Superintendent and HSE Coordinator to drive safe, efficient construction of multi-family residential projects. You will lead on-site teams, coordinate with PMs and subcontractors, and ensure alignment with project milestones and safety standards.

The role emphasizes safety program implementation, quality oversight, and strong communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in construction management.
Experience in Alberta/North America preferred.
Civil Engineering or Construction Project Management background.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and best practices.
Canadian experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily construction activities, including supervision of site staff, trades, and subcontractors to maintain productivity, quality, and safety standards.
Develop, coordinate, and monitor construction schedules, trade sequencing, and project milestones.
Support construction planning, methodologies, design reviews, and implementation of project phases.
Maintain an organized, professional, and safety-focused job site.
Provide on-site leadership and direction to construction teams and promote accountability.
