Job summary

NDura Developments is seeking a Residential Site Superintendent to lead on-site construction activities for Edmonton-area projects. You will oversee daily field operations, coordinate trades, and maintain safety and quality while ensuring work progresses on schedule.

The role requires a minimum of five years of residential construction experience, strong leadership, and the ability to read drawings and coordinate multiple teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of progressive experience in residential construction.
• Experience as Site Superintendent, Site Supervisor, Construction Superintendent, senior foreman, or similar role.
• Familiarity with residential infill, townhomes, multi-family housing, or similar construction.
• Proven ability to supervise subcontractors and coordinate multiple trades.
• Knowledge of construction sequencing, scheduling, building systems, and site logistics.
• Ability to read and work from architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and civil drawings.
• Experience with JobTread, Buildertrend, or Procore is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily construction activities on assigned sites from startup through project completion.
• Coordinate sequencing, trade activity, productivity, and general site operations.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, deliveries, inspectors, and internal staff.
• Communicate scopes of work, deadlines, quality standards, and site expectations to trades.
• Ensure drawings, materials, equipment, labour, and information are ready before work begins.
• Keep job sites clean, secure, organized, and professionally maintained.
• Identify upcoming site needs and resolve coordination concerns before they interfere with construction.
• Use construction tools and equipment to support site activities.
• Manage field execution according to the approved construction schedule.
• Develop short-range plans for trades, deliveries, inspections, and milestones.
• Track progress and identify delays early.
• Coordinate priorities with Project Manager and Project Coordinator.
• Confirm subcontractor and supplier commitments; follow up as required.
• Develop practical solutions when schedules slip or sequencing changes.
• Organize site logistics for deliveries, equipment access, waste removal.
• Attend project meetings and provide accurate field progress information.
• Coordinate with Project Manager and Project Coordinator to align field and office activities.
• Communicate professionally with subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, clients, and stakeholders.
• Represent NDura professionally at project sites.
