Job summary

MacDonald Search Group seeks an Area Sales Manager to grow a premium beverage portfolio across Edmonton and adjacent markets. This hands-on, field-based role focuses on opening doors, building relationships and converting conversations into orders.

Ideal candidates bring 1–2 years outside beverage sales, a track record of account development, and the ability to travel throughout the territory, with a valid driver's license. Competitive salary with bonus and benefits.

Qualifications

• Outside sales experience in beverages or consumer packaged goods.
• Proven record of developing accounts and meeting sales targets.
• Strong communication, professional presence and ability to represent premium brands.
• Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools; EZ Focus a plus.
• Post-secondary education or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Own territory and maintain a disciplined call schedule across Edmonton and nearby markets.
• Build relationships with key accounts, retailers, restaurants and hospitality clients.
• Win new business through prospecting, in-person visits and presentations.
• Expand product distribution and secure displays and menu placements.
• Deliver product education and sampling programs to build knowledge and demand.
• Represent the portfolio at trade shows and customer events.
