Position: Manager, Program Delivery

Within our IT department (public and private cloud, Operational Support Systems and Service Management), reporting to the Sr. Director of Portfolio Management & Program Delivery. We seek a high-achieving individual to lead a team of project-focused team members to successfully deliver key strategic programs, focusing on business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the planning, execution, and closure of Technology Programs/Projects involving new products, services, and capabilities.
• Identify and govern scope, deliverables, and interdependencies to meet objectives and KPIs.
• Develop and lead Program Communication plans, ensuring stakeholder alignment and effective reporting on progress, risks, and issues.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, managing expectations and collaborating on deliverables.
• Lead and mentor a team of project managers, coordinators, and analysts; set performance and development targets.
• Address obstacles and conflicts, escalate issues as needed, and keep project schedules on track.
• Manage relationships with vendors and third-party system integrators, ensuring deliverables meet acceptance criteria and are on time.
• Follow Rogers' delivery methodology, conduct Lessons Learned sessions, and promote continuous improvement.
• Oversee procurement activities related to vendor engagements.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience managing large, complex IT projects, preferably in telecommunications.
• Experience establishing program governance, stakeholder management, and supporting Organizational Change Management (OCM).
• PMP certification and at least 3 years in a Program Management or leadership role.
• Knowledge of Service Management and experience with ServiceNow is advantageous.
• Proven vendor management experience.
• Ability to navigate challenging situations and adapt in fast-paced environments.
• Strong negotiation, influence, communication, and business writing skills.
• Strategic thinker with decision-making and innovative problem-solving abilities.
• Leadership, organizational, multitasking, troubleshooting, and conflict resolution skills.
• Proficient in project management tools and MS Office suite.
• Post-secondary degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

This is a hybrid role, requiring in-office presence three days per week at our Calgary location. Specific days are flexible.
