Rogers is seeking a Manager, Program Delivery to join our IT department (public and private cloud, Operational Support Systems, and Service Management), reporting to the Sr. Director of Portfolio Management & Program Delivery. We are looking for a high-achieving individual to lead a team of project-focused members to successfully deliver key strategic programs, focusing on business outcomes.

The primary focus of this position is to manage the planning and execution of IT Programs and Projects while building a cohesive delivery team. You will ensure stakeholders are well-informed of project status and issues, and proactively work to resolve risks.

What You Will Be Doing

• Manage the implementation planning, execution, and closure of technology programs/projects involving new products, services, and capabilities.
• Identify and govern overall scope, deliverables, and interdependencies to meet objectives and KPIs.
• Define program communication plans to align stakeholders and project resources with goals and objectives; lead sessions with leadership to inform and drive conclusions related to progress, blockers, financials, issues, risks, and containment plans.
• Build relationships with stakeholders, collaborate on plans and deliverables, and manage expectations.
• Lead and mentor project managers, coordinators, and analysts; set performance targets, development plans, and conduct reviews.
• Identify obstacles and conflicts, ensuring workable solutions and escalating issues to keep schedules on track.
• Manage relationships with third-party system integrators and vendors, overseeing deliverables and ensuring timely completion.
• Adhere to Rogers delivery methodology, lead lessons learned sessions, and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with procurement for tendering and awarding statements of work.

What You Bring

• 8+ years managing large, complex IT projects, preferably in telecommunications.
• Experience establishing program governance, managing stakeholders, leading teams, and supporting organizational change management.
• PMP certification with at least 3 years in a program management or leadership role.
• Knowledge of Service Management and experience with ServiceNow is an asset.
• Proven experience managing vendors and third-party solutions.
• Ability to succeed in challenging, ambiguous, and fast-paced environments.
• Strong negotiation, relationship management, communication, and business writing skills.
• Strategic thinker with decision-making and innovative solution development skills.
• Motivated, collaborative leader with organizational, multitasking, troubleshooting, and conflict resolution skills.
• Proficient in project management tools and MS Office.
• Post-secondary degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
