About the Role

The Senior Financial Analyst, Consolidations and Management Reporting, will be responsible for the consolidated reporting activities of Oxford Properties Group. These include FP&A for budgets and forecasts, the consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual results, submission to OMERS, preparation of internal reporting packages, executive presentations, and related reports and analysis.

This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, along with the ability to multitask in a complex environment. Experience in the real estate industry involving consolidations and management reporting is preferred. Experience in a large organization with a complex legal entity structure is considered a strong asset.

Responsibilities
  • Preparing Oxford’s consolidated monthly, quarterly reforecast, and budget internal reporting packages, including key schedules such as the balance sheet, income statement, and management cash flow, providing insights and analysis versus budget;
  • Performing return calculations, analyzing transaction activity, and assisting in return variance analysis;
  • Maintaining global transaction data and related variance reporting;
  • Transforming Oxford’s quarterly and budget executive reporting using visualization tools like PowerBI;
  • Analyzing key performance indicators such as NOI, interest, gains/losses, capital expenditures, and performing variance analysis;
  • Preparing and reviewing month-end close entries and reconciliations for consolidated reporting;
  • Coordinating Oxford’s monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidations and reporting;
  • Reviewing reports for internal and parent use;
  • Performing ad-hoc analyses as needed.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Accounting and working towards or holding a CPA designation;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in financial reporting/analysis or audit, preferably in real estate;
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate findings effectively at an executive level;
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills; experience with complex consolidations is an asset;
  • High attention to detail and strong follow-up skills;
  • Experience with complex organizational structures and multi-currency environments;
  • Process management and continuous improvement skills;
  • Ability to adapt to evolving organizations;
  • Strong report and memo writing skills;
  • Collaborative mindset and results-driven attitude;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
