Insight Global is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join a leading bank in downtown Toronto for a 6-month contract. The role involves supporting financial operations, particularly a general ledger project with a focus on ensuring the accuracy of the reporting hierarchy in S/4HANA for future reporting needs.

The Senior Analyst will be responsible for mapping and analyzing hierarchies between S/4HANA and downstream systems to ensure compliance with IFRS and US GAAP standards. Prior experience working with large datasets within a major financial institution is essential. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, well-organized, and adept at cross-collaboration.

Skills and Requirements

1. 5+ years of experience in large banking institutions, preferably in finance or accounting.
2. Experience in financial reporting.
3. Ability to work confidently with large datasets, including running queries.
4. Knowledge of financial products such as loans and deposits.
5. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS standards.
6. Familiarity with S/4HANA, with previous experience preferred.
