This is a newly created role based in our North Sydney location. Working closely with the Financial Accounting Manager, the purpose of this position is to provide accounting support to the Corporate Finance team.

Responsibilities :

• Review & approve Zeno Finance Approvals for expense claims

Involves assessment of claim against the relevant policy, ability to articulate reasoning in the event of a claim rejection and occasional liaison with employees.

• Balance Sheet Reconciliations in Blackline

Perform monthly reconciliation of balance sheet items by comparing the balance to supporting material, identify any reconciling items and certify in Blackline

• Capitalised Labour Collation of Data

Collate and organise timesheet data from multiple systems / processes into a central workpaper which will be used to prepare a monthly journal for entry in Pronto. Involves several inputs.

• Maintaining financial / management accounts and general ledger systems to ensure the maintenance of a common information base
• Ensuring the security of financial systems and the integrity of audit trails

Skills :

• Ability to critically analyse and communicate financial information
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting
• Methodical approach to work
• Ability to ensure consistency of standards / procedures and promote efficiencies
• Ability to maintain confidentiality around sensitive data
• Advanced excel – formulas, lookups and working with pivot tables
