Job Description
Advanced level DIY sales position with expert knowledge of DIY business. The role requires expertise in store operations, automotive systems, and parts knowledge. Responsibilities include providing advanced automotive problem resolution, sourcing parts from various channels, and maintaining inventory standards. Fleet safety knowledge is preferred.
Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver best-in-class customer service and resolve DIY issues effectively.
- Provide GAS3 selling experience for all DIY customers including walk-in, online, and phone orders.
- Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives.
- Manage DIY services such as testing, battery installation, and wiper installs.
- Maintain high standards of customer service and store appearance.
- Perform key holder duties including task assignment, safety, and opening/closing responsibilities.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Assist with inventory processes including POGs, truck put away, cycle counts, and back stock.
- Provide backup support to Professional services.
- Ensure store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, and parking lot.

- Ability to interpret safety rules, manuals, and catalogs.
- Basic math skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

- Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Prior Experience
- 3-5 years of automotive parts experience.
- Proven sales ability in customer transactions.
Education
- High school diploma or GED.
Certificates and Licenses
- ASE certification preferred but not required.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
Requires walking, standing, lifting up to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 100 pounds occasionally. Visual and manual dexterity needed. Work environment includes indoor and outdoor settings with exposure to weather, mechanical parts, chemicals, and noise.
