Job Description
The House of Commons’ Parliamentary Precinct Operations is currently creating a pool of qualified candidates for the position of Technical Support Specialist.
In this role, working in a call centre environment, you will provide technical expertise for calls or requests to the IT Service Desk. You will support and resolve issues encountered with House technologies by Members of Parliament and their staff on the Hill and in constituency offices, including House Officers, administrative staff, Library of Parliament employees, Parliamentary Translation employees, the Parliamentary Centre, and parliamentary partners. Responsibilities include telephone and email support, guidance, and online troubleshooting.
The position requires working on a rotational basis outside normal hours, due to the 24/7 nature of activities.
