Job description

Overview

We are currently seeking an Electronic Drafting Technician to join a growing manufacturing company in the Vancouver, BC area. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality drawings for machinery manufactured. You will work closely with the engineering and production teams, managing administrative tracking of materials related to various projects and completing detailed drawings.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of electrical components, understanding connectivity, circuits, relays, and diagrams involved in the electronic design of machinery or equipment. You should be comfortable working in a smaller company environment and possess a flexible, team-focused approach. On-site work in East Vancouver during regular business hours (Monday-Friday) is expected.

Compensation will be in the range of $30-40 per hour, based on relevant experience. A comprehensive benefits package is also available.

Requirements

1. Fluency with AutoCAD platform
2. Minimum 3-5 years of experience creating technical drawings and drafting
3. Knowledge of electrical systems, with a background in electronic schematics and drawings
4. Strong organizational skills and proficiency with MS Office suite
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
6. Legally entitled to work for any employer in Canada
