Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Junior Administrative Assistant to fill a 3+ month role for our government client located in Edmonton. If you are looking for a fulfilling opportunity with a great team – don’t wait – apply now!

Qualifications:
  1. A minimum of 2 years' experience in an office environment; previous records management and data entry experience would be considered an asset.
  2. Previous experience working within the government or a government related industry would be well regarded.
  3. High attention to detail is required.
  4. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  5. Intermediate knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
Responsibilities:
  1. Greet and direct visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Receive and sort daily mail and assist with courier deliveries.
  3. Maintain stock of office and kitchen supplies.
  4. Book and set up meeting rooms.
  5. File, photocopy, and maintain records.
  6. Data entry including the completion of forms and templates; follow up with departments to obtain missing information.
  7. Other administrative tasks as required.
