Primary Duties and Responsibilities :

  • The management of the assigned projects and / or cases.
  • Adherence to the general company processes.
  • Telephone support : Implementing call-centre programs including support for patients, healthcare professionals, and funding bodies. Focus areas include funding and access issues, compliance programs.
  • Administer and adhere to case-management protocols, including clinical monitoring, data collection, patient follow-up, compliance, therapy monitoring, adverse event reporting, and liaising with healthcare providers.
  • Conduct market research initiatives with physicians, patients, pharmacists, or other health professionals.
  • Manage out-bound calls for patient programs based on casework methods.
  • Document activities in specific databases.
  • Participate in ongoing training and specialized courses as deemed appropriate.
  • Provide feedback on protocols, databases, processes, and inter-departmental relationships.
  • Communicate clearly with managers and colleagues regarding case management during absences.
  • Participate in training of new caseworkers, including shadowing and call monitoring.
  • Report all adverse events to the appropriate units / departments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience and Educational Requirements :

  • Broad training in business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences, or similar, typically obtained through a two-year associate's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of one year experience in customer service.
  • Bilingual (French / English) is an asset.
  • Ability to multitask and attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in the medical and pharmaceutical field is an asset.
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Minimum Skills, Knowledge, and Requirements :

  • Advanced knowledge of the pharmaceutical distribution industry.
  • Knowledge of automated warehouse systems.
  • Strong business, financial, analytical, and mathematical skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines consistently.
  • Excellent problem-solving and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of Office programs like Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

The successful candidate may have daily contact with English-speaking customers, patients, or cross-functional teams.
