Job summary

Dexterra Group is seeking a production team member to support bakery operations. The role involves loading from a walk-in freezer, operating ovens, decorating donuts and other baked goods, and maintaining inventory during busy periods.

You will prep toppings, ensure shelf-life labeling, and help keep the show area clean and organized. This entry-level position emphasizes teamwork, food safety, and reliability in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Be able to learn how to operate various equipment.
• Be able to commute to work early in the morning.
• Be able to multi task and work well under pressure while maintaining food safety standards.
• Be able to carry boxes up to 25lbs and work in a cold environment (freezer/fridge).
• Enjoy working with a successful team in a safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Be able to get products from walk-in freezer, operate oven and decorate donuts and other products according to standard.
• Operate ovens/egg cookers and prepare baked products such as muffins, donuts, breads, eggs, sausages, etc.
• Handle inventory of baked products during the shift and monitor expiring products.
• Prepare toppings and pre-prep back-ups for next shifts.
• Ensure all showcase specifications and production sheets are met and filled.
