COBS Bread is hiring a Baker in Burnaby to lead our freshness commitment. You’ll start with an empty bakery each morning and end with warm bread and treats for the community.

No prior experience required—just the right attitude and a willingness to learn. Join a friendly, energetic team with flexible shifts (including 3am–12pm windows) and opportunities to grow through our Bronze and Silver baker development tracks.

Qualifications

• Must be an early riser.
• Able to work independently or with a small team.
• Strong work ethic and reliable.
• Pride in serving the community.

Responsibilities

• Bake each morning as part of a small team following recipes.
• Maintain bakery cleanliness and ensure a great customer experience.
• Read production schedules, measure and mix ingredients, shape dough and operate ovens.
