Job summary

Kids & Company Tamarack is seeking a compassionate Support Worker/Aide to provide one-on-one support to a child who requires additional assistance in our childcare program. This part-time position runs contract-to-June 2027 and offers growth within a leading Canadian childcare organization.

You will implement individualized care plans for a child with ASD, working closely with educators, the Centre Director, and the child’s family. Observations and documentation are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children with ASD.
• Patient, compassionate, and child-focused approach.
• Ability to work collaboratively with educators, leadership, families, and support teams.
• Current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check and standard Child Care First Aid & CPR certification.

• Monday: 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

• Thursday: 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
• Friday: 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
