Job summary

BrightPath Early Learning & Child Care in Calgary, Alberta, is seeking a dedicated full-time staff member to support children's development through implementing and developing programs in line with our curriculum.

Responsibilities include maintaining a safe and clean environment for children, assessing their needs, and collaborating with families and other staff. We offer benefits such as health insurance, a retirement plan, and professional development opportunities.

This role requires Early Childhood Education certification and up-to-date first aid training.

Qualifications

• Must meet province requirements for childcare employment.

Pay Range: $18.00 per hour, Government Wage Enhancement offered on top of hourly rate

Job Type: Full-Time

No evenings or weekends!

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing a program in line with BrightPath’s curriculum that supports the development of children.
• Maintaining an environment that protects the well-being of children.
• Assessing the abilities, interests, and needs of children and discussing progress with parents and other staff.
• Establishing collaborative relationships with co-workers, management, and families.
• Attending staff meetings and professional development opportunities as necessary.
• Working to maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.
• Other duties as assigned.
