BrightPath Kids in Sage Hill, AB is hiring an Early Childhood Educator (ECE) at Level 2 or 3 to work with teachers and families, providing a home-away-from-home environment for children in our care.

The role focuses on implementing BrightPath's curriculum, safeguarding children's well-being, assessing development, and collaborating with families and staff. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly pay range, no evenings or weekends, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• ECE Level 3 Certification or B.Ed./Equivalent required.
• Must meet provincial requirements for childcare employment.
• Current Standard First Aid and infant CPR.
• Current immunization and health assessment as per local health requirements.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing a program in line with BrightPath's curriculum that supports the development of children.
• Maintaining an environment that protects the well-being of children.
• Assessing the abilities, interests, and needs of children and discuss progress with parents and other staff.
• Establishing collaborative relationships with co-workers, management, and families.
• Attending staff meetings and professional development opportunities as necessary.
• Working to maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.
• Other duties as assigned.
