BrightPath Kids in McKenzie Towne, AB, is hiring an Early Childhood Educator - Level 1 for full-time work on-site. The role focuses on delivering BrightPath’s curriculum, ensuring child safety, and fostering development in a home-away-from-home environment.

Qualifications

• ECE Level 3 Certification or Bachelor of Education/Equivalent required.
• Meet provincial childcare employment requirements.
• Current Standard First Aid and infant CPR required.
• Immunization and health assessment per local Health requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a program aligned with BrightPath curriculum.
• Maintain a safe, clean classroom and promote children's well-being.
• Assess children's abilities and discuss progress with families and staff.
• Collaborate with coworkers, management and families.
• Attend staff meetings and professional development.
• Support classroom organization and materials.
• Other duties as assigned.

What will you be doing?

As an Early Childhood Educator - Level 1 you will work side-by-side with teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children in our care. Responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing a program in line with BrightPath’s curriculum that supports the development of children.
• Maintaining an environment that protects the well-being of children.
• Assessing the abilities, interests, and needs of children and discuss progress with parents and other staff.
• Establishing collaborative relationships with co-workers, management, and families.
• Attending staff meetings and professional development opportunities as necessary.
• Working to maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.
• Other duties as assigned.
