The Front of House role is varied and engaging, involving continuous interaction with people and diverse tasks within a Leisure Centre setting.

Primary Objectives

• Ensure all visitors receive friendly, polite, and efficient service.
• Create a positive first impression of the Leisure Centre.
• Maintain good knowledge of the Leisure Centre's facilities and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and lead a team to ensure service compliance.
• Organize weekly and monthly rotas for staffing coverage.
• Understand and meet customer needs, providing high standards of customer care.
• Assist with bookings, payments, and customer inquiries.
• Support customers with social media, website, and app issues.
• Control access, issue receipts, and enforce health and safety policies.
• Follow financial procedures for cash handling and reconciliation.
• Operate communication systems and relay messages clearly.
• Manage new gym memberships and swimming lesson bookings.
• Operate booking and point of sale systems.
• Promote resale and hire items.
• Address customer complaints following company procedures.
• Maintain a clean and welcoming reception area.
• Assist in the overall running of the Centre as needed.

The FOH Manager may also serve as Duty Manager, opening and closing the facility according to company policies.
