Construction Supervisor
This hands-on role at Aylesworth Project Management is crucial to the successful delivery of each project across Western Canada.
Qualifications
·A robust construction background combined with practical expertise, organizational, and leadership skills will be essential in collaborating with the Executive and Project Manager.
·Proficiency in interpreting engineered drawings to accurately assist in securing subtrade quotes is required.
·Developing and populating construction budgets and estimates by obtaining precise quotes from sub-trades will be a key aspect of this position.
·Responsible for the precise procurement of materials and equipment for each project.
·In collaboration with the Project Manager, you will direct all project-related documentation, including negotiating and approving change orders, addressing deficiencies, overseeing counts, inspections, and testing procedures.
·You will ensure compliance with provincial standards, safety regulations, and laws.
·Coordinating and managing various stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and carriers.
·Ultimately, your goal is to deliver all projects on time, within scope, and within budget, upholding Aylesworth Project Management's commitment to efficiency and exceptional quality.
·In coordination with the Project Manager, manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders and create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Required Training and Experience
·5 - 10 years of experience in construction with site supervision and project management experience.
·Proficiency in MS Project and the Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, Word, Outlook.
·Knowledge of Builders Trend is advantageous.
·Valid Driver's license
