Responsibilities :

• Pack, ship, and track domestic and international shipments, including Dangerous Goods
• Select appropriate, pre-qualified / approved carriers for each shipment
• Prepare paperwork for shipping and receiving, including customs documentation, commercial invoices, and waybills
• Assist Operations with inventory review, batch reconciliations, and managing finished product inventory levels
• Implement and optimize Supply Chain processes and software, such as order fulfillment & management, carrier software, and accounting / ERP software
• Track and report shipment status to internal and external customers
• Provide logistics consulting to internal and external customers, including obtaining shipping / freight quotations and assessing new formulations, products, and prototypes in R&D
• Monitor, organize, and distribute received goods, move skids of material with appropriate tools and equipment, and lift boxes / items up to 23kg (50lbs)
• Perform other duties appropriate for a Shipping & Logistics Coordinator

Qualifications & Skills :

• Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada
• Post-secondary education in logistics, supply chain management, or equivalent combination of relevant job experience and training
• CIFFA and / or CITT designations or actively working towards these are preferred
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in a shipping and / or logistics position
• Proficiency with carrier shipping software, such as UPS Worldship and FedEx Ship Manager
