Reporting to the Director of Western Canada, the Regional Coach / Regional Manager will oversee and provide leadership and coaching to a group of optometry practices in British Columbia.
Ideally, the candidate will be located in Okanagan.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Contributing to consistent, high-quality patient experiences in a multi-unit, cross-functional environment encompassing retail, manufacturing/lab, and doctor services to achieve organizational goals.
- Preparing the organization for quality improvement by advising on team building, interpersonal communication, meeting facilitation, and leadership skills.
- Providing effective on-the-job training and guidance to team members, utilizing company programs, and delivering clear, motivating, and constructive feedback promptly.
- Analyzing store financial data and recommending improvements for retail business and profitability.
- Ensuring consistent campaigns and communications across all consumer engagement points, reinforcing FYidoctors' vision and brand initiatives.
- Coaching employees to understand how their practices can improve continuously, observing operations, and identifying opportunities for change. Assisting practices in data collection and analysis to assess activity effectiveness.
- Supporting practices in planning for change, setting goals, strategizing, problem-solving, and providing tools and support during challenging situations.
- Driving strategic growth and revenue with a strong regional focus.
As The Successful Candidate, You Have:
- A minimum of five years’ experience managing retail or hospitality teams across multiple locations.
- A minimum of four years’ experience in leadership or management roles.
- A Business diploma and/or degree preferred.
- Excellent coaching and personnel development skills; strong team-building and management capabilities.
- The ability to set clear goals, establish accountability, and foster a positive work environment.
- Strong influencing and negotiating skills; sound judgment; excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skills.
- Knowledge of current optical theory and merchandise.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
- Willingness and ability to travel throughout the region weekly.
