Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-Time (30 – 40 h/w)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cook to join our team. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing delicious meals, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and adhering to all food safety and sanitation regulations. You will follow day-to-day tasks assigned by the Sous Chef or Chef de Cuisine and maintain consistent communication with all kitchen staff.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepping and organizing your entire station.
  • Executing and running the food services for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.
  • Creating fresh, seasonal, and well-executed Daily Features.
  • Completing other related duties assigned by the Sous Chef and/or Head Chef.
  • Following daily cleaning jobs and responsibilities.
  • Demonstrating good interpersonal skills when dealing with customers, staff, and management.
  • Maintaining a professional image that reflects positively on the company.
  • Being flexible to work early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
  • Staying highly organized and able to multitask effectively under changing priorities.

Employment Requirements:

  • Completion of secondary school is required.
  • 1-2 years cooking experience or completion of college or other programs in cooking.
  • Knowledge of safety standards to ensure employee and customer health and safety.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs., push/pull 100 lbs., and perform extended standing, bending, and crouching.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including day, evening, and night shifts, as well as holidays and weekends.
