Job description

Our client is a leading producer of PET, rPET, HDPE & PP containers, offering stock & custom packaging options. They are hiring a Distribution Sales Account Manager to continue to grow their distribution business to the likes of TricorBraun, Berlin Packaging, and Midwest Packaging. The following candidate will have the following:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Play a leading role in the development and execution of account management and growth plan for distribution.
  2. Central point of contact responsible for the oversight and delivery of all internal/external client initiatives.
  3. Ensure all of the critical tasks relating to assigned accounts are completed on-time and within budget (requires working closely with and overseeing other internal teams and direct management).

Business development responsibilities include:

  1. Within the assigned account base, this position is responsible for securing new business within the current customer base.
  2. Establishing good personal and professional relationships with key stakeholders across the client’s organization, including: senior managers, buyers, plant level managers, quality teams, etc.
  3. Organizing and hosting all client visits to our facilities or visits to client facilities (includes working with all internal teams to have requested information prepared and in a professionally presented format).
  4. Regular travel to client sites to address needs, understand current satisfaction levels, and look for new business opportunities.
  5. Work closely with development group to define commercial applications for new technologies.
  6. Set up new product/technology introductions (working with internal technical team).
