Position Overview

We are seeking a Business Development Representative to join our growing Sales team. This role focuses on identifying and qualifying high-quality leads, communicating Recharge’s value proposition to prospective merchants during the initial sales phase, and helping to drive sales growth through new customer acquisition and pipeline development.

Responsibilities
  • Drive impact by generating leads, booking demos, and preparing prospects for sales closure through prospecting, research, and qualification.
  • Engage with emerging merchants via various channels including cold calling, emailing, video, and social selling to connect and schedule meetings.
  • Communicate Recharge’s value and technical capabilities effectively during initial contact.
  • Manage a pipeline of prospects independently using tools like Salesforce and Outreach.io.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and partnerships teams to learn and contribute.
  • Represent Recharge as a brand ambassador, creating a positive first impression with merchants.
  • Learn and adapt to sell effectively in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Qualifications
  • Experience in inside technology sales with a successful track record in consultative selling.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and high energy with a positive attitude.
  • Motivated, self-starting, and capable of exceeding targets.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Outreach.io, Apollo.io, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the ecommerce industry is a plus.
