The Sr. MDM Data Engineer is a senior member of the Data Solutions Delivery team. This role leads the digital transformation of operational and foundational Master Data Management (MDM) roadmaps to build and support the MDM platform, including data integration, modeling, and migration. It involves designing and implementing the overall MDM architecture and interfaces for both customer and enterprise data.

We seek an experienced MDM Platform Engineer responsible for managing our MDM platform using Reltio software. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, configure the platform to meet business objectives, and work closely with the Data Architect to deploy scalable MDM solutions.

Responsibilities

1. Design and develop data ingestion and transformation pipelines.
2. Follow best practices and architecture patterns.
3. Develop a deep understanding of healthcare data domains through process ownership, exploration, and SQL development.
4. Design and develop data quality, masking, curation, and extraction processes.
5. Provide operational support for high-severity issues impacting data pipelines.
6. Build reusable data processing utilities using modular development methodologies.
7. Deliver high-quality, scalable code with automated testing.
8. Mentor team members on data engineering and software practices.
9. Configure and maintain the Reltio MDM solution, including data models, workflows, and integrations.

Additional Responsibilities

• Define and implement data governance policies and standards.
• Ensure data synchronization across systems.
• Implement data quality tools within Reltio to resolve inconsistencies and duplicates.
• Monitor data quality metrics and KPIs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and resolve data issues.
• Facilitate workshops to align MDM initiatives with business goals.
• Optimize performance and scalability of the platform.
• Document configurations, models, and policies.
• Train and support end users and data stewards.

Required Technical Skills

• 5+ years implementing data management platforms like Reltio.
• 4+ years with SQL or NoSQL databases such as Postgres, Oracle, MongoDB.
• 5+ years in data architecture and engineering, with deep reference data knowledge.
• 3+ years integrating data management systems with vendor feeds.
• Proven experience in large-scale data modeling and ETL/ELT strategies.
• Knowledge of data warehousing solutions and architecture.
• Experience with Reltio Data Quality Module and RDM.
• Strong data quality and integration expertise.
• Understanding of MDM principles and architecture.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Commitment to continuous learning and team mentorship.

Education

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.

Salary Range: $136,393.40 - $166,870.00

The posted salary range reflects our current best estimate. Actual pay may vary based on experience and other factors. This role is eligible for variable pay and a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, insurance, 401(k), and well-being benefits.
