Job SummaryThe Masonry Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting project managers, employees, clients, and suppliers throughout the lifecycle of construction projects. This role requires a proactive, organized, and detail-oriented individual who can manage schedules, track project progress, and facilitate communication among stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities·Coordinate construction schedules, resources, equipment, and information
·Support project start-up and close-out processes
·Maintain accurate documentation including contracts, permits, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
·Act as a liaison between the office and job site, suppliers, and clients
·Track project progress, prepare status reports, and flag potential issues
·Ensure site compliance with occupational health and safety standards
·Assist in procurement and purchasing processes
·Participate in internal and external meetings and prepare minutes
·Update project management software and maintain accurate project files
Qualifications·Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Civil Engineering Technology, Architecture, or a related field
·1–3 years of experience in a construction coordination or administrative role
·Familiarity with Canadian construction codes, safety regulations, and provincial standards
·Proficient in MS Office (Outlook & Excel) and project management tools
·Strong communication and interpersonal skills
·Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
·Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Assets (Nice to Have)·Fluent in English; French is considered an asset
·Knowledge of Bluebeam, SiteDocs, and QuickBooks Online considered an asset
