Qualifications

We teach students from preschool to postsecondary levels how to learn, concentrate, listen, remember, and most importantly, believe in themselves as they reach their academic dreams.

Job details :

This role is in-person. You must be able to commute to this location. This is not an online job. No relocation package is offered. Vulnerable sector screening is mandatory. Training sessions are required.

As the Education Coordinator, you will participate in the centre's operations, working with staff, teachers, parents, and students. You will work directly with the Centre Director as a key staff member, with responsibilities including:

  1. Helping inform parents about Oxford Learning programs
  2. Organizing schedules for students, staff, and teachers
  3. Setting up and administering assessments
  4. Establishing and overseeing student learning programs
  5. Liaising with community members (schools, sports teams, local businesses)
  6. Maintaining contact with parents and discussing their child's progress
  7. Ensuring the Oxford Learning philosophy is upheld
  8. Creating a fun and energetic learning environment daily
  9. Mastering and coaching others in the Oxford Learning teaching philosophy

Education :

  • Minimum university degree (credits in Social Sciences, Languages, Math, and Business preferred)
  • Strong secondary school mathematics skills are an asset
  • Additional languages spoken are an asset

Experience :

  • Experience in an educational environment with medium to large student populations
  • Experience in a business environment is an asset
  • Experience with billing cycles required
  • Strong phone skills and customer service experience (sales experience preferred)

Salary : $22 - $25 / hour

Schedule :

Monday to Friday, 2:30 pm - 8:00 pm
