QA Student Opportunity :

Provide support to the Quality Assurance team in areas of monitoring and inspection of company products, materials, equipment, and production facilities to ensure compliance with government regulations and Sofina’s Quality by Process philosophy, Quality Assurance programs, and specifications to exceed customer expectations.

Requirements :

• Currently enrolled in a college or University program in Food Science or a related field.
• Experience in a food manufacturing environment is an asset.
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
• Computer Literacy (intermediate MS Word, MS Excel).
• Strong attention to detail.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities :

• Fast-paced environment
• Physically demanding – lifting up to 50lbs
• Work under pressure.
• Hand-eye coordination
• Standing and walking for extended periods
• Cold / refrigerated environments.
