What You Will Do With Us

As the Western Ontario Automation Services Specialist based in Kitchener, you will be responsible for managing the Services product portfolio within the region, supporting areas from Kitchener to London and north to Owen Sound. Reporting to the Regional Automation Manager, you will represent the Rockwell Automation (Allen-Bradley) and Westburne portfolio of services, assisting both internal and external customers with selection and solutions, and overseeing sales performance within your territory.

  1. Prepare and execute an annual strategic business plan for sales development.
  2. Develop and implement commercial activities aligned with the strategic plan.
  3. Manage an opportunity funnel to achieve sales targets.
  4. Proactively pursue and develop new business opportunities.
  5. Support Westburne and Rockwell Automation sales teams with account planning and execution.
  6. Serve as a pre-sale technical consultant, providing technical solutions to customers.
  7. Offer post-sale technical support to enhance customer confidence and competency.
  8. Conduct technical presentations and product updates.
  9. Travel regularly to the US for training and other job-related activities.
  10. Coordinate product launches, seminars, and promotional programs.
  11. Implement strategies to address competition and expand market penetration using available marketing tools.
Who Are You
  1. You possess an Electrical, Electronic, or Automation Technology diploma or degree from a recognized institution.
  2. You have at least 2 years of experience in automation or technical product sales/support.
  3. You understand sales principles such as Strategic Selling, Customer-Centric Selling, and Conceptual Selling.
  4. You demonstrate strong time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  5. You excel at building relationships.
  6. Working knowledge of industrial automation is preferred.
  7. You have product and application knowledge of Rockwell Automation products and services.
  8. A valid driver’s license and passport are required.
