About MakeLab

MakeLab brings 3D printers, laser cutters, robot arms, t-shirt printers, and all sorts of creative tools to events, showing people how to be creative in new ways. We’ve produced over 1000 experiences around the world, partnering with agencies and brands like Samsung, Microsoft, Adidas, Adobe, Autodesk, and eBay.

We’re opening a retail store at STACKT Market in Toronto, where we’ll prototype new event experiences by inviting the public to explore, create, and play. The store will feature curated rotating monthly experiences and offer a wide range of online offerings via Etsy, Shopify, and more.

The Role

See the innovative work we do on our website? Help us expand it. This entrepreneurial role involves creating and executing marketing strategies to fill our pipeline. You’ll report directly to our founder and creative director and will:

  1. Create our marketing strategy. Develop quarterly, monthly, and weekly plans and execute them.
  2. Channels and Content Creation. Identify channels for marketing, execute campaigns, coordinate, and create content.
  3. Evolve and Maintain our Website. Keep our website updated and effective.
  4. Improve our Pipeline. Increase new business through effective marketing efforts.
Experience Required
  1. A proven record of excellence in Marketing and Sales. Demonstrated success in marketing communication, sales, and design.
  2. Experience across multiple platforms. Paid ads, SEO, website design/development, design software, social media.
