Job description

As a surgical sales rep, you will work closely with surgeons and surgical room clinical staff. You will be able to provide exceptional service and ensure customer satisfaction with our client's quality orthopedic products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and sell products / implants by scheduling sales calls and surgical cases to trial and support.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies by determining the relevant factors, like clinical and budget needs of existing and potential accounts, to effectively promote the company's products to surgeons and procurement.
  • Analyzing sales figures and reports to identify the needs of particular accounts helps develop action plans on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
  • Observe surgical procedures in hospitals' operating rooms to gain insight into the specific nuances of each physician and surgical staff member.
  • Establish pricing packages by working with relevant company personnel to establish price points that address specific client needs while satisfying company guidelines and policies.
  • Respond to customer needs and complaints regarding products and services by developing creative and feasible solutions and working with company personnel, i.e. Clinical Specialists, Product Managers and the Regional Director to develop optimal solutions.
  • Develop relationships with hospital personnel (e.g., through casual conversation, meetings, and participation in conferences) to make new contacts in other departments within the hospital and identify key purchasing decision-makers to facilitate future sales.
  • Educate customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products by giving presentations and demonstrations using various formats and platforms to secure purchasing commitments.

EDUCATION

  • University Degree or a college diploma in a health-related discipline

Work Experience
