Business Transformation Project Manager (8-Month Contract)

Position Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Project Manager to lead and deliver key organizational projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and supporting business growth. This role will involve managing complex, cross-functional initiatives that require strong analytical, project management, and leadership skills. Reporting directly to senior leadership, the successful candidate will ensure projects are executed seamlessly, driving measurable improvements.

This is an 8-month contract, primarily in our HO in South Surrey. Candidates should be based in the Greater Vancouver Area, BC. Fluency in English and French is considered an asset.

Key Responsibilities :

Strategic Project Leadership

  • Oversee the end-to-end execution of key organizational projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop detailed project plans, establish clear deliverables, and define performance metrics to track progress.
  • Proactively manage risks, address challenges, and implement corrective actions to ensure successful outcomes.

Process Optimization and Systems Integration

  • Assess and streamline existing processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and alignment with long-term goals.
  • Support the integration and optimization of new tools, technologies, or workflows into existing business operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure changes are implemented effectively with minimal disruption.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Serve as a central point of contact for internal stakeholders and external partners to drive alignment and accountability.
  • Facilitate effective communication between departments, ensuring all teams are informed and working toward shared goals.
  • Support knowledge transfer and documentation to maintain organizational learning and project sustainability.
  • Evaluate project outcomes and identify opportunities for improvement in processes, systems, and resource allocation.
  • Lead post-initiative reviews to capture insights and establish best practices for future projects.

Reporting and Accountability

  • Prepare and deliver project updates, reports, and presentations to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure all activities comply with corporate policies, regulatory standards, and project governance requirements.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Project Management, or a related field. PMP certification or similar credentials are highly desirable.

Experience :

  • 5+ years of experience managing complex projects with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated expertise in process improvement, change management, and systems integration.

Skills and Competencies :

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess processes, identify gaps, and implement solutions.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English; French is an asset.
  • Ability to lead, influence, and collaborate with diverse teams, including remote and distributed workforces.
  • Highly organized with excellent time management and attention to detail.

Other Requirements :

  • Based in Lower Mainland, BC, with occasional travel as required.
