Details: Temporary, Days, 37.50 hours per week, 3-week rotating schedule (This is a temporary position that is expected to end on or before August 31, 2025)

Schedule:

1. Week 1: 6:30AM to 2:30PM Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Wednesday; 9:30AM to 5:30PM Tuesday
2. Week 2: 6:30AM to 2:30PM Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday
3. Week 3: 9:30AM to 5:30PM Friday; 6:30AM to 2:30PM Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

Pay Scale: $19.05 - $23.10 per hour

Location: Ottewell Place Lodge, 6207 – 92 Avenue NW, Edmonton, AB, T6B OS3

Typical Duties:

1. Food preparation, baking, portioning and labeling food
2. Cleaning kitchen areas and equipment
3. Dishwashing
4. Preparing meals, beverages, sandwiches, salads, and snacks
5. Peeling and chopping vegetables
6. Assisting with meal services and beverages
7. Other site-specific duties as assigned

Experience/Education Preferences:

• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal are required
• Experience in food preparation and baking is an asset
• Experience as a server in a dining room is preferred

Other Requirements:

• Strong customer service skills, including the ability to interact with everyone in a respectful manner
• Ability to read and follow standard recipes and work in a sanitary manner
• Ability to demonstrate responsible judgement in problem solving
• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
