As a Food Services Clerk, reporting to the Food Services Manager, you will perform various clerical tasks within the food services department. This role requires excellent customer service, auditing skills, attention to detail, and is essential to providing an excellent patient experience.

Your Work Will Include

• Receiving and filling new menu requests logged in the system
• Checking assembled trays against meal tickets to ensure accuracy
• Comparing tickets to records, contacting units for discrepancies, and confirming no duplicates
• Calling the Emergency Department to determine the number and type of meal trays needed
• Ensuring trayline staff clarity — printing names, noting special instructions, and color coding diets as per legend
• Checking food and beverage temperatures and maintaining records
• Printing inpatient records, updating meal tickets, and modifying production schedules
