Job Title: Project Manager - Bridges Construction

My client has an immediate need for a Project Manager with 5+ years of experience in the construction of bridges for their Woodstock, Ontario office.

Client Details

My client is seeking a qualified Project Manager to oversee bridge construction projects. They are committed to safety, quality, and timely delivery.

Description

• Develop diverse, high-performing teams through coaching, training, and development.
• Be accountable for the successful delivery of multiple projects.
• Provide oversight, leadership, and be accountable for the development and maintenance of project schedules and execution plans.
• Oversee preconstruction phase, team selection, and ensure the teams execute the stages on a portfolio of projects.
• Develop strategies and action plans to overcome project execution challenges.
• Support business development activities by creating and maintaining long-lasting relationships with clients, engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors.

Profile

• Knowledge of construction techniques, disciplines, production and cost control, scheduling, safety policies and regulations, and engineering requirements.
• Knowledge of Ontario Health and Safety Act and Regulations.
• Knowledge of Federal and Provincial Acts & Regulations.
• Knowledge of contracts, procedures, and impacts of changes on cost and schedules.
• Post-secondary degree or diploma in Construction or Engineering.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in construction, with at least 5 years managing large projects and bridges.
• Proven leadership skills.
• Computer literate.
• Adaptable and flexible.
• Ability to manage large groups, attract, and hire workers.
• Sound understanding of Risk Management.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.
• Ability to work under pressure.

Job Offer

• Base salary of up to $160,000
