Your Job

As a Feeder Scheduler at Flint Hills Resources, you will play a key role in executing monthly blend plans, maintaining crucial communication with our commercial partners, and ensuring smooth operations across various departments.

We work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.

What You Will Do
  • Execute monthly blend plans and prioritize product balancing needs to optimize our refinery’s desired crude slate and scheduling operations.
  • Foster strong communication channels with various partners.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders for streamlined operations.
  • Develop and maintain shipper balance documentation for accounting purposes.
  • Engage with internal personnel to provide updates on key crude supply sources - truck unload volumes and feeder crude supplies used to blend crude destined for our refinery. Cultivate relationships with key schedulers at companies we do business with.
  • Ensure accurate submission of shipment notices and serve as a backup scheduler for Enbridge mainline scheduling functions.
  • Participate in business improvement initiatives by collaborating with internal resources including our IT business team to create effective data dissemination tools.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Experience in Excel and Power BI (analyzing data, presenting and communicating such analyses, troubleshooting formulae and streamlining prediction calculations)
  • Experience in scheduling or logistics
  • Ability to learn internal software systems
  • Must be available to take calls and respond to situations during non-working hours
What Will Put You Ahead
  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • Experience in scheduling or logistics within the oil and gas industry
  • Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools
  • Knowledge of market drivers and refining economics
  • Experience implementing business improvement initiatives
