Job description

Join to apply for the Maintenance Planner – Day Shift role at Lassonde.

The position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and requires a self-directed, highly organized individual responsible for light maintenance work, routine checks, inventory management, and planning preventive maintenance activities. The role includes bi-weekly inspections of the ammonia system, water tanks, and lubrication checks on drive systems. A mechanical and electrical background is preferred to perform minor repairs.

Key activities
  • Maintain housekeeping standards
  • Water system and boiler maintenance
  • Equipment inspections and routine maintenance
  • Inventory management and parts ordering
  • Use of CMMS for work orders and reporting
  • Support and coordinate maintenance activities
Required training and experience
  • Understanding of electrical, pneumatic, and process circuits
  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • 5th Class Power Engineering certificate or willingness to obtain within a year
  • Experience with forklifts and cutting/welding equipment
Skills sought

Conditions
  • Availability for shift coverage, overtime, and weekends
  • Ability to work at heights up to 40 ft
