Summary

As part of the Finance team, you will ensure customer requirements are met, managing accounts and contracts, and tracking project profitability. You should be willing to travel, with a valid driving license, and be based near our offices in Loanhead or Flamstead.

  • Contract Management
  • Accounting and Finance knowledge (understanding of accounting terminology)
  • Advanced Excel skills (formulas, PivotTables, PowerBI, etc.)

Position Responsibilities
  1. Manage key accounts, addressing SLA issues and reporting.
  2. Oversee multiple projects from award to final account, ensuring desired profit margins.
  3. Update commercial documents, including profitability reports and forecasts.
  4. Review cash flows and budgets with the Finance team monthly.
  5. Prepare monthly business reviews, explain forecasts, and track variances.
  6. Understand contract requirements and ensure compliance to maximize potential.
  7. Build positive customer relationships to encourage repeat business and additional scope.
  8. Handle variance orders, accounts receivable, and disputes promptly.
  9. Conduct formal project reviews monthly to assess profitability and identify risks or opportunities.
  10. Support financial audits and prepare performance reports.
  11. Work with service managers to maximize revenue on key accounts.
  12. Communicate contract terms clearly and manage contract lifecycle.
  13. Manage ongoing issues and change processes.
Qualifications & Attributes
  • Experience in Contract Management, Financial Analysis, and Business Planning.
  • Excellent Excel skills; PowerBI knowledge is a plus.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • A qualification in Business Administration, Management, or related field is advantageous.
  • Dynamic, passionate about driving business success.
