Contract Specialist – Procurement

Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 2 days/week in office)

Up to $45 per hour

Our client is a large financial services business seeking a skilled Contract Specialist to support their

Procurement function. This is a hybrid role requiring 2 days per week in their downtown Toronto office.

It’s an excellent opportunity for a contracting professional with strong sourcing, negotiation, and

communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Review procurement requests and determine appropriate routing
• Draft, review, and manage contracts using company templates
• Ensure all agreements comply with internal policies and standards
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
• Negotiate terms and pricing with suppliers to secure best value

Requirements:

• 2–4 years of experience in a Contract Specialist or similar procurement role
• Strong market awareness and understanding of contracting best practices
• Experience with CLM tools such as iValua, Coupa, or Ariba is helpful
• Background in a financial institution or experience with IT and Professional Services procurement
