What will your typical day look like?

Individuals in this role are responsible for supporting all aspects of procurement and category management activities including stakeholder interactions, sourcing/RFX efforts, negotiation and contracting, supplier interactions and performance monitoring, and spend analysis and category planning. The role sits within the Global Procurement team and delivers Procurement services globally, regionally, and in local areas.

Responsibilities include:

Stakeholders: Working effectively with stakeholders to understand/define business requirements

Information Gathering: Researching internal and external data (spend, supplier info, market conditions) to build context for RFP and contracting activity

RFPs: Collaborating with internal stakeholders to help develop RFPs, engage supplier participants, evaluate proposals and summarize recommendations for supplier selection.

Contracts: Supporting/driving contracting activities including supplier interactions and collaboration internally with Legal, Cybersecurity and other Risk teams to finalize contracts that deliver value and manage risk for Deloitte.

Suppliers: Working with stakeholders and suppliers to monitor suppliers’ general performance and adherence to SLAs; assisting in problem resolution

Category Strategies: Supporting internal/external analysis, opportunity identification and documentation of category strategic plan

Global CoRe provides seven fundamental services to Deloitte around the world: knowledge services, creative services, contact center, data management assessment services, data protection, procurement, and real estate. We develop new and innovative ways to improve how these services are delivered across the organization, leveraging our global scope and strength to serve our organization within and across borders.

Education:Bachelor’s Degree required

Years of Experience:3-5 years of relevant experience

Skills:

  • Experience delivering results in area such as Strategic Procurement, Sourcing, Category Management and/or Vendor Management
  • Knowledge of Software and Technology suppliers and category
  • Strong knowledge of supplier agreements/contract templates
  • Contracting and commercial negotiation experience
  • Relationship building, influencing, and collaboration skills
  • Strong data and analytical skills (e.g., TCO modeling, spend and savings analysis)

Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint to support fast/efficient/polished analysis and leadership presentation decks

The salary range for this position is $58,000 - $96,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
