What’s the role?

We seek an experienced DevOps Engineer responsible for automating infrastructure configurations, provisioning, monitoring, and managing client environments on AWS. You should be passionate about DevOps tools and practices, stay updated on AWS offerings, and have a strong background in automation with tools like Terraform and Ansible. You will work in operational roles, ensuring system availability, security, and efficiency, participating in an on-call rotation, and supporting strategic cloud infrastructure initiatives.

Responsibilities include:

1. Automate infrastructure and configuration management tasks including deployment, backup, disaster recovery, security hardening, and patching.
2. Coordinate with other departments during project implementations and ongoing integrations.
3. Resolve critical infrastructure and application issues, communicating with impacted teams.
4. Maintain cloud infrastructure uptime according to SLAs through monitoring and analysis.
5. Work within an agile environment, completing features and projects in sprints.
6. Participate in the on-call rotation.

What you offer…

• University degree in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years in infrastructure management and 3+ years in DevOps automation.
• Expertise in Windows and Linux administration, command line tools, and management/deployment tools.
• Hands-on experience with core AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudTrail, Route53.
• Experience with relational (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB) databases; SQL Server administration is a plus.
• Monitoring and troubleshooting skills with tools like CloudWatch, Zabbix, DataDog, ELK.
• Experience with build tools such as Jenkins, Maven, Git, Capistrano.
• Knowledge of Java, PHP, Ruby, Apache, Tomcat, ColdFusion.
• Hands-on with Bash, Python, Terraform, Ansible.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services like ECS, ECR, Fargate, RDS, Cognito, DMS, Kinesis, OpenSearch is a bonus.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, work independently, and learn new technologies.
• Motivated, flexible, and hardworking.
